Bowl and Blade started in 2018 as a fast-casual bowl shop in Park Slope, Brooklyn: açaí bowls, poke, big salads, smoothies and avocado toast, made fresh from whole ingredients. The opening was covered by Eater NY, Manhattan Digest and Spoiled NYC, and the bowls built a loyal neighborhood following.
The shop has since closed, but the recipes did not go anywhere. Bowl and Blade is now a food blog written by Lincoln Moore, sharing those bowls, plates and drinks rewritten for home kitchens.

How we write recipes
Every recipe uses ingredients you can find in a normal grocery store, gives real quantities, and explains why it works, so you can swap things confidently. Where food safety matters, like raw fish for poke, we say so plainly.
